Art Brokerage: Jerry Venditti American Artist: Jerry Venditti’s illusion of realistic depiction, and mastery of the demanding technique of trompe l’oeil, a French term meaning, “to fool the eye” results in a fantastic trickery of third dimension so powerful that the viewer is tempted to reach out and touch the objects in his paintings. Jerry employs his own rich, vibrant style. His unique versatility throughout his work can transport one to a vineyard in wine country, an underwater seascape, or a golfer’s clubhouse at Pebble Beach. Jerry views art like life – “limitless in form, and infinite in expression.” Painting is a spiritual means for him, a way to share the love and beauty of creation. Native to San Francisco, Jerry stepped away from pursuing a career in law, to study art with Al Proom, and Tom Jordon of the renowned San Francisco Art Institute. Upon completing his mentorships, he followed his desire to study amongst the vastness of the New Mexico landscapes, which gave way to his deep love for the Southwestern culture, which is evident in his work.
