Provenance / HistoryFrom: Paige Bradley
This piece is one of the early ones. We painted the spiral white and did a warm creamy patina on the figures. It’s fine and is in good condition. It’s authentic.
Story / Additional InfoBallet International | Bronze | 35 x 10 x 24 in | 83 x 26 x 61 cm Ballet International Foundation, which commissioned the sculpture in 2006, annually presents a smaller version as an award to talented young dancers around the world. Even though only one award is created and presented each year, it has already gathered much notoriety and is becoming a hallmark in the world of dance. The (small) award itself cannot be collected, as it is presented by the foundation annually to an exceptional dancer.
